The first step is launch a notebook or console with SQL kernel. Run connect  to establish the connection. You need to choose the driver. Currently we support:

- SQLite
- Redshift
- Oracle
- MSSQLserver
- MySQL
- PostgreSQL

After entering your driver, you will be asked to enter the connection URL. The structure of expected URL is shown. Such as:

jdbc:mysql://[host:port]/[database]

for MySQL connection. The next step is to enter your username and password and define a name for your connection. You use the connection name anytime that you would like to establish this connection by entering:
connect your_connection_name

With valid credentials and URL your connection is established and you get the confirmation. You can cancel the process at any stage by entering exit .
